Spring Kickoff: March to May
March 28 brings the Market Opening and Fruit Blessing Day at the Producers’ Market, Easter preparations at Town Hall and Shepherd’s House courtyard, plus Easter programs running through April 6. On March 30, catch Traccs Party with Rudolf Péter. April 3 is Bunny Ear Festival Family Day at Festetics Imre Experience Center. April 13 features Zselenszky Evening with Török-Zselenszky Tamás’s musical show at Town Hall. April 14 has Late Lament – József Attila Evening by Dvorák & Patka Theater at Town Hall. April 18 offers the Zalai Balaton-part Concert Wind Band’s film music concert at Ligetplex Cinema, followed by Bud Break Spring Festival on April 18-19. April 25 is the BIG Maypole Raising in Gyenesdiás. May 8 hosts a book launch and meet-the-author event with local fairy tale writer Bertók Csilla. May 14 brings Útitársam, Shirley MacLaine – Schell Judit’s musical solo show. May 23 and 30 feature Maypole Dancing Out and Children’s Day Party at Kárpáti Promenade and Producers’ Market.

June 4 marks National Togetherness Day and Trianon Memorial at Heroes’ Garden. Art Courtyard series runs June 10, 17, 24, and July 1 at Shepherd’s House courtyard. June 26-28 is GYÖNGY – Gyenesdiás Volunteer Healing Days at Nagymező. July 4-5 has Gyenesdiás Bream Festival, followed by Wine Days July 9-12. July 25-26 is MASTAFF Summer Fest dog show at Kárpáti Promenade. July 31 opens a thematic exhibit on the 200-year-old Saint Ilona Chapel at Town Hall. August 6-9 brings Woodcarving Days and Altér Fest. August 20 is Saint Stephen’s Day, August 23 the 17th Festetics Gallop as National Gallop regional qualifier, and August 27-30 wraps up summer with Bogártalálkozó Farewell.

September 5 is Gyenesdiás Harvest Fun, September 13 Wonder Deer Family Day at Festetics Imre Experience Center, September 19 the 15th Gyenesdiás Potato Day. October 6 remembers the Arad Martyrs at Heroes’ Garden, October 22 holds a festive memorial at Kárpáti János Primary and Heroes’ Garden. November 28 starts Advent candle lighting. November 29 is Advent at the Animal Park – forest animals’ Advent at Festetics Imre Experience Center. December 4 is Village Santa celebration at Town Hall, with candle lightings December 5, 12, and 19. December 10 shows a baby photo exhibit of 2026 Gyenesdiás newborns at Town Hall. December 12-13 features Advent Chestnut Roasting and Christmas Market. December 24 ends with Shepherd’s Play at Town Hall.
