April’s Packed Schedule
Kick off on April 1 with the Zichy Géza AMI teachers’ concert. April 2 brings the MI Public Salon talk by tourism expert Dr. Kiss Róbert Richard on the future of tourism and how to keep the city attractive for local and foreign guests, plus a family Easter prep morning at the children’s library with storytelling, crafts, and lots of laughs for kids and parents. April 3 rocks with the FISH! album launch concert, while Easter Bike Carousel and Easter Dottó Train rides run April 3-6. Easter at Hungarospa spans April 4-6. April 8 features the Szoboszlai Story book launch and Zichy Géza AMI solo singing class concert. Bike Carousel returns April 10-13; Cloisonné Workshop wall picture making on April 11. April 17 features Petőfi Cultural Program’s music history trip guided by Hungarian National Male Choir artists, a Triász gig at Rock Cafe, and life coach Kutykó Zsolt’s Journey to Self V lecture. April 18 has the Mudfield 10 concert. April 24 brings laughs with Kiss Ádám’s What I Don’t Say solo show hosted by Fülöp Viktor at Dumaszínház in Kovács Máté City Cultural Center ($24-$28), plus Gastroszínház’s Bitter Aszú play with 3-course wine dinner and six-wine tasting starring Bata Éva (Tecája from Our Little Village) and Bárnai Péter—storytelling, acting, and eats for $69 per person; tickets cash or card at Szilfa Restaurant (by March 31).
