A cheerful, impeccably polite English couple, Peter and Debbie, befriend an American widow, Elsa, on a cruise. Addresses are exchanged, future visits promised—usually the end of the story. Not this time. One day, Elsa rings their doorbell. By then, the couple has read alarming things about her online, and panic sets in—they’re wary of letting her near their two teenagers, yet don’t want to offend her. Chaos snowballs as a meddling neighbor and a police sergeant barge into the uproar. After a smash run in London’s West End and a Budapest premiere at Játékszín, the frightfully proper guest arrives at the Újszeged Open-Air Stage (Újszegedi Szabadtéri Színpad) as well.
