Debrecen’s beloved antique market fires up again in 2026, taking over the Nagyerdei Stadium’s (Nagyerdei Stadion) northern closed parking lot every second and fourth Sunday from March through December, starting at 7 a.m. sharp. Tucked in the lush Great Forest Park (Nagyerdei park) at Nagyerdei Park 12 (postcodes 4031 and 4032), this spot draws crowds of treasure hunters for a morning packed with real deals on antiques, retro goodies, artworks, tools, and unique gift ideas. Forget mass-produced junk—it’s all about those nostalgic finds that spark stories and collections. The vibe? Pure market magic amid fresh forest air, with haggling, chats among regulars, and that unbeatable thrill of unearthing a gem. Whether you’re a hardcore collector or just browsing for cool decor, you won’t leave empty-handed.

Mark your calendars—the full lineup runs like this: March 22, April 12 and 26, May 10 and 24, June 14 and 28, July 12 and 26, August 9 and 23, September 13 and 27, October 11 and 25, November 8 and 22, and December 15. Each one from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, in Debrecen’s green heart.
Treasures on Offer
Stalls overflow with old porcelain, clocks, books, vinyl records, jewelry, paintings, everyday relics from the past, military memorabilia, postcards, stamps, and vintage home decor gems. The stock shifts monthly, keeping every visit fresh and exciting—that’s the secret sauce. No new stuff allowed; it’s strictly antiques, retro items, and art-related pieces only. Violators spotted during checks get booted on the spot.
Strict Rules for Sellers
Organized by Máté László of FŐNIX Program Bt., the fair demands setup from 5 a.m., full pack-up by 3 p.m., and spotless handover. Book spots ahead via contacts; the gated lot requires check-in. Sellers must keep areas tidy—tents, tables, cloths, even rugs under goods—with clear paths and fire safety in mind. No offending fellow sellers, buyers, or organizers. Obey laws regarding totalitarian symbols and precious metals. Banned items according to Decree 35/1995: cultural artifacts, cave formations, fossils, guns, ammo, explosives, noble metals. Also banned: used clothes (coats, furs, hats), bags, scarves, curtains, shoes (except military), tech gadgets like pumps or drills, and any new-packaged goods. Grass, blankets, or tarps are OK for selling (tables for fragile items like porcelain), but avoid green zones—it’s protected land. According to Decree 55/2009, private individuals can sell occasionally. Sellers must pay parking fees starting from 8 a.m.; regulars can hold spots till 7:30 a.m. or lose them. No-shows without notice forfeit their spots. Organizers aren’t liable for losses—guard your gear. Free parking for all in the stadium’s northern public lot. Break house rules? You’re out.
Easy Access
Public transport rocks: Hop tram 1 or buses 10, 12, 13, 22, 24 to Clinics (Klinikák) stop. Sellers, arrive early for those prime spots.
