Fehérgyarmat, el vibrante corazón de Erdőhát cerca de la orilla derecha del Someș (Szamos), en el extremo noreste de Hungría, destaca muchísimo para ser una ciudad de solo nueve mil habitantes. Una parte de la tribu Gyarmat se asentó en este triángulo Tisza–Someș–Túr (Tisza–Szamos–Túr) ya en el siglo X, y hoy es cabecera de distrito, con un peso cultural, educativo y económico que sorprende. Gente de toda la zona (¡y turistas de más lejos!) acude durante todo el año para ver su iglesia reformada del siglo XV, con sus cuatro pináculos, relajarse en la playa termal, comprar en sus tiendas o pasear por sus parques.

Esa misma noche, el Quiz Club (Kvíz Klub) convierte los lunes por la tarde en una fiesta entre juegos, preguntas y comunidad: en Fehérgyarmat, el conocimiento se combina con el buen rollo.
