Freddie’s Lélekbúvár Belső Tűz – March 22
Kick off the year on March 22 at 7 p.m. in the Balaton Theater’s main hall with Freddie (Fehérvári Gábor Alfréd) delivering Lélekbúvár Belső Tűz. Tickets are $30. It’s all about that inner fire—the motivation flickering in daily life, guiding you through darkness if you trust it and yourself. Freddie asks, who are you? He’ll show you through songs, poems, and thoughts, helping you discover who you are and who you’re not. Freddie exploded onto the scene in 2015 with “Mary Joe” after a talent show, then won A Dal with “Pioneer,” earning Hungary’s slot at the 2016 Eurovision in Stockholm. He was the most versatile performer after dominating Sztárban Sztár 2018, snagged Csináljuk a fesztivált! in 2024, and was crowned Év Énekese that year too. Awards pile up: InStyle Style Award for Young Talent (2016), Petőfi Music Award for Discovery of the Year (2016), VIVA Comet Best Song (2016), InStyle Stylish Man (2017), Playboy Man of the Year Performer (2019), Petőfi Male Artist of the Year (2024).
Kelemen Barnabás and Concerto Budapest – April 21
On April 21 at 7 p.m., Balaton Theater hosts Kelemen Barnabás with Concerto Budapest conducted by Keller András for the season finale: Sorsok és szenvedélyek (Fates and Passions). Tickets $20/$18, season passes $55/$48. Dive into Brahms’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77—it took time to catch on, as critics griped about tough violin parts, the orchestra stealing the spotlight, even that oboe solo. Now it’s a staple, showing Brahms’s lyrical, dramatic, wild side. Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36 wrestles with fate: its motto like the sword of Damocles poisons the soul, but you endure and triumph. Feel the depths, heights, and uplifting endings.
Caramel.Zongora – April 25
On April 25 at 7 p.m., Balaton Theater’s main hall features Caramel.Zongora for $24. An intimate, piano-accompanied journey reimagining hits in cozy vibes—pure emotion and magic in one unforgettable night.
