March Kickoff
Kick off the year with a Thursday sauna session on March 26. Then, on March 27, dive into the Iconic Wines of Historic Regions wine dinner at Malom & Kacsa, where flavors and aromas come alive in a cozy atmosphere. March 29 brings the Lenten Caroling Circle.
April’s Easter Buzz
April 4 features Easter Family Day and Easter Sprinkler Ball at Veranda Bistro & More. On April 11, catch Attila Sohonyai’s Literary Evening at Palma Event House. April 15 features Tamás Jordán’s “Against the Wind” stand-up, blending witty stories—many theatrical—with woven-in poems. On April 26, wrap up with Randevú Párizsban, avagy Kellemes Húsvéti Ünnepeket! (Rendezvous in Paris, or Happy Easter!) at Magyary Zoltán Cultural Center, tickets from $13 to $14.
May’s Mix
May 1 offers festive wellness relaxation at Kristály Imperial Hotel. May 3 is Mother’s Day brunch there too. May 8 features Kettő az egyben! (Two-in-One!) stand-up by Szomszédnéni Produkciós Iroda at Dumaszínház in Magyary Zoltán Cultural Center, $22 to $23. May 13 spotlights Cukorbaba (Sugar Baby), a boundary-pushing theater, music, literature, and puppetry show inspired by Blaha Lujza’s life—part confession, part performance. June 5-7 revives the 18th Tata Patara Turkish-Era Historical Festival at the castle, recreating the 1597 siege with real battle reenactments. June 19-21 is Tata Fair. June 25-28 explodes with Water, Music, Flower Festival—concerts on land, water, air; fairground fun, family programs, wine courtyard, fireworks, exhibits, and epic foodie spreads. June 27 features the Tata Lake Crossing. July 25 sails the Tata Regatta; July 31-August 1 savors Wine Festival and Fish Days. August 1 races the Tata Mini-Marathon and Half-Marathon.
