Mucsi Zoltán’s One Life Stand-Up Bio Show
On March 26 at 7pm, catch Mucsi Zoltán in Egy Életem (One Life) at Kálmán Imre Cultural Center. It’s a one-act (90 minutes) biographical stand-up where famous artists spill on life’s big moments—straight from real life. Everyone knows him as Kapa, but his path wasn’t smooth. Trained as a locksmith but dreaming of soccer, he stumbled into acting as an extra at Szolnoki Szigligeti Theater. Theater hooked him for 15 years, as he climbed from bit parts to leads. Then Budapest called with theater and film stardom. He teamed up with Scherer Péter for the iconic Kapa-Pepe duo, and he’s been rolling ever since. Mucsi shares key stories “Kapásan”—from his days as a kid in Abony and newspaper delivery in Szolnok, dramatic roles to electrician bits, Jancsó films to Tóth János. He opens up about private life and family too. Warning: dangerously funny! “I’m expecting world peace from this show, humanity getting better, and a climate crisis fix. Even if just a bit happens through my stories, I won’t be disappointed,” says Mucsi. Starring Mucsi Zoltán, directed and produced by Lévai Balázs, dramaturg Gyulay Eszter, visuals/VJ by Kőváry Dani and Mucsi Milán, lights Ács István, production manager Fantoly Nikolett.
