Gates open to vendors at 5 a.m. for setup. Trading hours: 7 a.m.–2 p.m. Breakdown runs 2–3 p.m., and every seller must leave the area clean.
How to Get There
By tram: Line 1. By bus: 10, 12, 13, 22, 24. Get off at Klinikák stop. The fair occupies the northern closed parking area of Nagyerdei Stadium (Nagyerdei Stadion). Public parking in the stadium’s northern lot is free for vendors and visitors.
What’s Allowed (And What’s Not)
Only antiques, retro objects, and art-related items may be sold. New goods are not permitted, and violations lead to immediate removal—organizers check this every time. All sellers must keep their spots tidy and presentable (think tent, table, tablecloth; rugs under items as needed). Keep aisles clear and respect fire safety rules. Stay within marked boundaries. Follow laws regarding the display of authoritarian symbols and regulations governing precious metals.
Not allowed under Government Decree 35/1995 (IV.5.): cultural goods, cave formations, fossils; firearms, blank-firing guns, ammunition, air guns; explosives and blasting agents; precious metals. Also banned: used clothing and outerwear (coats, fur, etc.), furs and fur hats, bags, scarves, curtains, footwear (except military), technical goods like submersible pumps, drills, grinders, and anything in new retail packaging such as drill or screwdriver sets.
Selling Basics
– Occupy and display from 5 a.m. only.
– After the 2 p.m. closing, clear out by 3 p.m. and leave the area clean.
– Market spots are in the parking area only. Selling on grass is allowed if you lay down a blanket, tarp, or canvas. Smaller fragile items (porcelain, glass, etc.) must be on tables. Protected green zones cannot be used.
– The parking area has a barrier; advance registration and booking are mandatory via the provided contacts.
– Rental fees for spots are collected from 8 a.m. each fair day. Regulars keep their usual spots by custom, but must occupy them by 6:30 a.m.; late arrivals risk reassignment. If you can’t attend, notify organizers or you may lose your regular place.
– Private individuals may sell occasionally under Government Decree 55/2009 (III.13.) §5(1). Receipts are issued on-site for rental fees.
– The organizer isn’t liable for damages; guard your own goods. House rules are mandatory—violators will be excluded.
