Parisian Farce With a Holiday Twist

On Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 19:00, Randevú Párizsban, avagy Kellemes Húsvéti Ünnepeket! lands as a two-part comedy set today in an upscale Paris neighborhood. Inspired by Jean Poiret and Georges Lautner’s screenplay that became a 1984 French box office hit starring Sophie Marceau and Jean-Paul Belmondo, the plot follows industrialist and serial charmer Stéphane Margelle. He kisses his wife, Sophie, goodbye at the airport, stumbles into an 18-year-old, and sweeps her through dinner, a nightclub, and finally home—just as his wife’s canceled flight brings her back early. Cornered, Stéphane blurts out the ultimate whopper: the young woman is his daughter.
