Szekszárd throws open the city center for a four-day Pentecost Festival from May 22–25, 2026, turning King Béla Square (Béla király tér) and nearby venues into a playground of music, food, and family fun. Dates: Friday, May 22–Monday, May 25, 2026. Main hub: 7100 Szekszárd, King Béla Square (Béla király tér), with programs spreading to the Market Square (Piactér), the House of Arts (Művészetek Háza), the County Hall Courtyard (Vármegyeháza udvar), and the Mihály Babits Cultural Center (Babits Mihály Kulturális Központ).
Music, Stars, Food
All day, every day, the square hums with concerts, showcase slots, and community vibes. Foodies get rich pickings: local specialties, street-food twists, and ice-cold refreshments. Additional highlights include the Pentecost Wine Courtyard, a Gastro Tent, the “Étkes Udvar,” a Crafts Fair, folk playgrounds, and a funfair. Entry is free, except for marked programs.
