The Gyula Summer Promenade Festival runs from June 29 to August 29, 2026, turning downtown Gyula into a nightly playground of free culture. Organized by the Ferenc Erkel Cultural Center (Erkel Ferenc Művelődési Központ), the series treats locals and travelers to 54 programs across 31 evenings and four venues, all without tickets.

Things kick off on July 4 with a July street ball at the World Clock, then roll into Borombós Anna’s show on July 6. July 8 stacks up with the Dancers of Gyula Amazons (Gyulai Táncoslábú Amazonok) dance showcase, plus sets from Retrock Band and Pre-Load. Outdoor painting pops up on July 9 in Saint Nicholas Park (Szent Miklós Park), followed by Lackás Akusztik that evening. Rock arrives on July 13 with Chained, while July 15 spotlights Rózsaszirom Belly Dance School featuring Boa Shamanica. Painting returns on July 16, paired with film-score piano by Krisztián M. July 31 closes the month with Torony Band and Kenton.
