Due to huge demand, Tourinform Veszprém and the HATESZ association are bringing back shelter tours combined with city walks in 2026. If you haven’t tried it, now’s your chance for this unique thrill. Kicking off March 28 at 2:30 pm from Óváros Square (Óváros tér), the tour circles Veszprém Castle to uncover the city’s history and cultural treasures. Guide: Koncz Ilona. Route hits Óváros Square highlights, castle area, monasteries and gardens, then the unlit shelter – pack a flashlight or phone for that part. Runs about 2 hours, minimum 15 people, maximum 40.
