On April 15, Kiss Tamás, choirmaster and music teacher, leads LEGJOBB ZENEI ÚJÍTÁSOK (Best Musical Innovations)—an Ismeretterjesztő zenés utazás (Educational Musical Journey)—featuring Kodály Zoltán’s Háry János, Erkel Ferenc’s Bánk bán, Smetana’s Vltava (Moldva), burlesque and western film scores, and The Lion King (Oroszlánkirály) cartoon tunes.
April 18 brings Pezseg a Balaton! (Lake Balaton is Bubbly!) Tavaszi bor- és pezsgőmustra & gasztro party (Spring Wine and Champagne Tasting & Gastro Party), with spring vibes, sun, lake views, great wines, bubbly moods, and chill afternoons spilling into evenings. Same day, Nyitott Pince napok (Open Cellar Days) at Festetics Helikon Taverna Cellar. It repeats April 25.
From April 3–26, Szevasz terasz (Hi Terrace!) opens on the Papp Pincészet terrace as part of the Magyar Bor (Hungarian Wine) “Szevasz Terasz” campaign—four weekends, nearly 100 wineries nationwide for spring sipping amid vines and panoramas.
