Kistarcsa’s 2026 event lineup bursts with fun for everyone—family days, kids’ activities, youth gatherings, and adult entertainment all year long. Expect colorful festivals, craft workshops, markets, folk playgrounds, and plenty of relaxed entertainment to keep things lively.
April Kickoff
Kick off on April 2 with Attila Mercel’s talk on working in the film industry at Deáktanya—weekly educational lectures open to all, free entry, and you can join the Kistarcsa Cultural Association (Kistarcsai Kulturális Egyesület). Same day, spring craft session for disadvantaged Kistarcsa kids and youth at Deák Ferenc Street 1 (Deák F. út 1)—free but registration required. It runs again April 7-10 there too. April 8, computer class for over-65s at Csigaház. April 9, Beatrix Csapó on Gödöllő’s social garden at Deáktanya. April 11, local history walk (Kistarcsa cemetery). April 13, Baby-Mama Book Club at the town library. More computer classes April 15, 17, 22, 24 at Csigaház. April 16, Kinga Tillmann on backpacking South America at Deáktanya. April 17, Retro Quiz Night at Csigaház. April 18-19, Kistarcsa painters’ exhibition at Csigaház. April 23, librarian Ágnes Kovács on King Matthias’s (Mátyás) corvinas at Deáktanya. April 25, wine tour. Wrap up April 30 with Ferenc Kardos on child protection stories at Deáktanya.

May 8, Megjöttem—László Lakatos’s solo show with opener Oliver Wolf at Duma Theater (Dumaszínház) in Csigaház, tickets $21. May 10, birth stool unveiling. May 22-24, Kistarcsai Days exhibitions, opening May 22; main shows May 23-24. May 31, Heroes’ Day.
