Balaton, folk, and world music take over the shore as the 7th Boglárt Festival returns to Balatonboglár from August 26–30, 2026, at Babel Camp, 8630 Balatonboglár, 28 Szabadság Street (Szabadság utca 28). It’s part festival, part folk‑music course, part industry forum, and part showcase: by day it’s all about learning; by night, bands rotate across two stages, and the folk pub keeps the dancing going until dawn.
Festival Vibe
Boglárt blends a music camp and a festival into one laid‑back summer community. Days are for workshops and instrument time; evenings switch to concerts and táncház, then slide into a world‑music–electronic after‑party. It’s an inspiring creative hub where learning, music, and the Balaton summer meet—a standout on both the Hungarian and international festival map for its hybrid format.
Lineup and Learning
Freshly announced names include Belgium’s Enara Navaira, Senegal’s Afrikora, Istria’s Veja, and from Hungary Okos Viola and Obadu, plus festival host Góbé. A Boglárt signature: many artists also teach by day, covering everything from Moldavian and string folk techniques to music‑industry know‑how in hands‑on workshops.
Showcase and Industry
After last year’s warm reception, the showcase block returns, bringing together Hungarian and international professionals to connect and collaborate.
