On March 18, 2026 (Wednesday), Zene Habbal (Music with Froth): Pultos Gyuszi és Manci light up the night. Two powerhouse performers—pianist Bacsa Gyula and singer-performer Fábián Bori (Manci)—serve up joy with their duo act. “Pultos Gyuszi and Manci’s unmissable show! March 19 brings Életutak… (Life Paths…) with host Borbély Ferenc welcoming Ördög Nóra, the Junior Prima Award-winning TV host, editor, and journalist. Then on March 22, Álmok Bábszínháza (Dreams Puppet Theater): A rejtélyes dzsungel (The Mysterious Jungle) delights kids with jungle critters like Lightning the sloth, famous for his “blazing speed” (aka slowness), and Nóz the anteater poking his long snout everywhere. This tale packs a message for tots and grown-ups alike—45 minutes, recommended from age 3. Tickets are 1000 HUF ($2.70) at the venue.
Chopin and Deep Talks
March 28 features Frédéric Chopin: Tizenhét lengyel dal – magyar nyelven (Seventeen Polish Songs – in Hungarian). Soprano Takács Lilla from the Hungarian State Opera sings, with pianist Cs. Nagy Ildikó accompanying. The cycle presents Chopin’s songs on Polish poems, lyrics translated into verse by Varga-Bíró Tamás and Takács Lilla.
