The 7th Boglart Festival lands on the Balaton shore from August 26–30, 2026, turning Babel Camp (8630 Balatonboglár, Szabadság Street 28.) into a cozy folk and world music hub. It’s part festival, part intensive course, part music industry forum, and part showcase: days focus on learning, nights ignite with concerts across two stages, then dancing until dawn in the folk pub (folkkocsma).
Music Meets Masterclass
This dual character shapes the festival’s special vibe. Boglart is more than a gig calendar; it’s an inspiring creative space and community experience where study, music, and the Balaton summer click in harmony. It stands out on both the Hungarian and international festival map because it uniquely blends a music camp with festival buzz.
Artists and Lineup Highlights
Freshly announced names include Belgium’s Enara Navaira, Senegal’s Afrikora, Istria’s Veja, plus Hungary’s Okos Viola, Obadu, and the festival’s resident hosts, Góbé. A Boglart trademark: many performers teach by day, from Moldavian and string folk techniques to music industry know-how in hands-on workshops. Concert evenings close with a táncház, then roll into a world music–electronic afterglow.
Showcase and Industry
After last year’s positive buzz, the showcase block returns, a meeting point for domestic and international pros to connect and brainstorm.
