Siófok is packing summer 2026 with festivals, concerts, theater, book launches, lavender harvests, boat parties, and family days all along the south shore of Lake Balaton. Weekly staples run June through August, from scenic cruises and an outdoor city-exploration game to late-night dance marathons at Plázs Siófok and culture at the Kálmán Imre venues.
June 1–7: Cruises and a City Adventure
All week, scenic Siófok boat trips depart from the harbor, while a playful outdoor sightseeing adventure sends families and friend groups on a clue‑filled stroll to the town’s landmarks. Both return week after week across the summer, so there’s always a window to jump in.
June 8–14: Dance, Books, and Plázs Nights
On June 8 at 19:00, the Duna Art Ensemble (Duna Művészegyüttes) and the Göncöl Band (Göncöl zenekar) bring Fathers and Sons (Apák és fiak), a dance performance inspired by ethnographer Albert Nagy’s fieldwork, to the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center theater. Actor Ödön Rubold quotes Kölcsey’s Parainesis, with dancer Máté Orosz appearing. Tickets: ground floor $9.60, balcony $8.25.
June 10 doubles up at the BRTK Library: Piglet and Goose (Malac és Liba), an interactive children’s session with Krisztina Tóth at 13:30, then her Can-Can on the Glass Floor (Kánkán az üvegpadlón) book launch at 17:00. On June 11 at 17:00, Katalin Szegedi presents As If It Were Yesterday (Mintha tegnap) at the same venue.
On June 12, Plázs opens its weekend with DESH (19:00–23:00) and the NECC PARTY raging from 22:00 to 04:00. Also on June 12, SiópArt 2026/2 launches with the Perczel 75 focus at the BRTK Library (17:00).
The Siófok Sports Day (Siófoki Sportnap) takes over the Great Beach (Nagystrand) on June 12, 10:00–15:00: try football, tennis, basketball, chess, beach volleyball, dance, or martial arts. Local clubs run demos, and Exatlon Hungary winners Réka Szabó and Gábor Koplányi, plus the Challengers, drop in. It’s about getting all ages moving, building grit and community—come with family or friends.
From June 12–14, the MyGarden (ÉnKertem) lavender harvest at 136 Diófás Street colors the weekend purple. June 13 brings EL PASO at Plázs with Purebeat, Chriss Jay, Rick Wayne, Polevaya, Wizty, and resident Barta; Carson Coma headline Plázs 19:00–23:00, and Zeller J. Kitty leads a 9:30 sound bath at the BRTK.
June 15–21: Arena Openers and Street Sounds
The city adventure and boat trips run again all week. On June 19, Plázs Arena launches Metzker & Friends with Viktória Metzker, Milán Koósz, Mario, and Pixa—and the K-OSZ TV crew filming live. Also that evening, Neoton play Plázs 19:00–23:00. Lavender harvest continues June 19–21, and the Everness Festival (Everness Fesztivál) settles in June 19–28.
June 20 stacks the deck: the Disco Party Boat (Bulihajó) sails from the harbor; the 2nd Street Music Cavalcade (Utcazene Kavalkád) spreads live music and genres across city spots; Pogány Induló hits Plázs; and the 2nd Siófok Mölkky Championship (II. Siófoki Mölkky Bajnokság) starts at 13:00 at the Beszédes József School park with real Mölkky sets for winners and a Finnish quiz for the brave. Guided Siófok Walks (Siófoki séták) also pop up this weekend.
June 22–30: AstroFest and More Lavender
June 22–28, daily cruises and the adventure game continue, and the Beach Library (Strandkönyvtár) opens June 22–August 19 at the Sóstó and Újhely beaches. On June 26, the BNK Dance Association fills the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center with Summer, Balaton, slamming pop, and the question How Could I Live Without You?.
AstroFest storms Plázs June 26–27: Friday’s main stage packs Bruno x Spacc, ValMar, Bréda Bia, Luca Mihályfi, and Blansch; the Arena hosts Metzker & Friends, Milán Koósz, Vini, and Pumped Gabo; on the sand: Chrstphr, Dumbo, Jauri, Johanna Bozai; Kisplázs goes One Dance; VIP + pool with DJ Slaager. Saturday flips to KKevin, T. Danny, VZS, and K-OSZ Disco on the main stage; the Arena with Buda + Don1ka, Shyb 5 Star, Hazetomika, Mollywood, Grasa, Ekhoe, and Alprite; sand with Belano, CFL, Kollár, StadiumX; Kisplázs Pusziland; VIP + pool with Ranger. Limited tickets, big productions, many stages, Balaton backdrop. Lavender harvest returns June 26–28 as well.
On June 27, another disco boat sails, plus new Siófok Walks. June 28, coin collectors meet 08:00–12:00 at the Gyula Krúdy Vocational School for the 35th national gathering, and St. Martin plays the Evangelical Church at 17:00.
July: Musicals, Hip-Hop, and Color Storms
Boat trips and the adventure game repeat June 29–July 5. On July 1 at 21:00, the Veres 1 Theater (Veres 1 Színház) revives American Comedy (Amerikai komédia) on the Kálmán Imre Open-Air Stage, set aboard the 1938 liner La Paz with swing and jazz in full blaze. Cast includes Kata Janza/Monika Horváth (Horváth Mónika), Kornél Simon, and Ádám Bálint; music by Artisjus and Fonogram winner Bálint Bársony; directed by Károly Peller. Tickets: $33.75 / $30.95 / $25.35 / $21.20. The same day, Majka announces his August 1 Plázs date (gates 19:00).
July 2, Krisz Rudi’s only big 2026 concert hits Plázs (gates 19:00) with AK26 as guest. July 3 brings Siófok Walks; in the Arena, Metzker & Friends with BSW’s Gaben (DJ set), Boglárka Nagy (Nagy Bogi), and Milán Koósz, while BSW and the Gang (BSW és a Gang) open gates at 19:00. July 4 sails another disco boat and hosts Dzsúdló at Plázs (gates 19:00).
From July 6–12, cruises and the adventure game run again; July 7 adds another party boat. Lavender harvest at MyGarden (ÉnKertem) spans June 5–July 7. On July 9 at 21:00, the Vörösmarty Theater (Vörösmarty Színház) stages Fiddler on the Roof (Hegedűs a háztetőn) at the Open-Air Stage, rain date July 10. Tickets: $39.65 / $33.75 / $30.95 / $25.35. The same night, Mobb Deep are billed for Plázs (gates 19:00).
On July 10, Róbert Szikora and R-GO (Szikora Róbert és az R‑GO) play Plázs (gates 19:00), then TechnoMatch opens at 23:00 with Henrieta Fogel, Vuiiitka, Mario Baric, Ervo, Spica, and Bohnicsek—bringing Slovak and Hungarian women behind the decks and Croatian underground grit. Metzker & Friends return with Mollywood, Hazetomika, and Milán Koósz. Also July 10–12: the 10th Balaton Babetta Tour (Balaton Babetta Túra) rides out from the BAHART port, and the New Orleans Jazz Festival (New Orleans Jazz Fesztivál) swings into town. July 11–12, ULTRA COLOR FESTIVAL blasts Plázs in paint and beats; July 11 also sails another disco boat.
July 13–19, the weekly duo of cruises and the city game continues. Another party boat goes July 14. On July 15 at 20:00, Pannon Castle Theatre (Pannon Várszínház) brings The Jungle Book (A dzsungel könyve) back to the Open-Air Stage, rain date July 16; tickets $28.30 / $25.35 / $22.55 / $19.70. On July 17, Follow The Flow celebrate ten years at Plázs (gates 19:00), plus a Plázs Boat sails. Actor Róbert Koltai’s Am I Never Going to Die? (Sose halok meg?) plays the Kálmán Imre Cultural Center Teátrum the same day with tickets at $6.85. And Metzker & Friends take the BAHART x Plázs Boat Party out at sunset on July 17 for a two‑hour dance cruise on the lake.
