The Archdiocese of Veszprém is rolling out a packed 2026 lineup across multiple venues in the 8200 district, mixing exhibitions, concerts, family and kids’ programs, guided tours, themed walks, talks, red-letter-day festivities, and church ceremonies. Between May 18–24, look for guided castle walks and the Night of the Organs, then more tours from May 25–31. Visitors can also find information on dates, accommodations, and food and drink.
Night of the Organs
On May 23, Castle Hill (Várhegy) hosts the Night of the Organs in Veszprém. A standout: a concert featuring organist Márton Levente Horváth with the Orlando Vocal Ensemble.
Summer to Autumn Concerts
June 21 brings a summer evening recital with organist Dénes Kapitány. On September 12, the Night of Open Churches features organist Tamás Kosóczki and trumpeter Péter Solymosi. September 26 marks the St. Michael’s Day concert with organist László Deák and flutist Márk Fülep.
Late-Year Highlights
November 21 honors St. Cecilia with organist István Ruppert and vocalist Krisztina Bognár. December 19 caps the year with an Advent concert led by organist Tamás Kosóczki.
