2026.06.20. (Saturday), 3300 Eger, Kistályai út 40. The Tóth Ferenc Winery is bringing back its beloved Midsummer celebration on Síkhegy, where St. John’s Night is anything but ordinary. For years, crowds have gathered under the Nyárfa to soak up the magic, and once again the Lobbanáspont Fire Juggling Crew (Lobbanáspont Tűzzsonglőr) will crown the night with a dazzling show that makes the celebration unforgettable.
Registration and Essentials
Attendance requires registration, so please confirm in advance. All afternoon and evening, the bar serves summer wines, alcohol-free drinks, cheese boards, spreads, and classic zsíros deszka. The picnic spot is reachable in multiple ways—plan your route ahead: arrive on foot or by bike if you’re feeling sporty, or drive right up to the site.
Shuttle Details
A frequent shuttle will help you get there. Look for the Tóthék Transfer sign opposite the Géza Gárdonyi Theatre (Gárdonyi Géza Színház) at Hatvani kapu tér, behind the 1956 memorial. The first departure to the picnic site is at 16:15, then 17:00, 17:45, 18:30, and 19:15. Buses return from the venue every hour and at half past, stopping at Hatvani kapu tér. If you’ll use the shuttle, indicate your preferred departure time when registering.
