What’s On

Both return May 18–24 and May 25–31, then continue June 1–7, with the escape room also running June 8–14. The building regularly hosts events and concerts, so expect a lively calendar.

Spotlight Night: Tömény Romhányi

Mark May 19 for Tömény Romhányi—an evening of nostalgia, music, and humor. The show salutes József Romhányi, born 105 years ago, whose playful language shaped generations. The Romhányi‑session band—János Horváth (keys), Szabolcs Mohai (drums), Kristóf Szabó (bass)—reimagines hits and cartoon theme tunes linked to him, all in a jazz vibe. Fans of The Mézga Family (Mézga család), Doctor Bubó (Dr. Bubó), Master Mekk (Mekk mester), and Cats (Macskák) get a witty, warm tribute worthy of the legend.

The Spirit of Unicum

Unicum, the Zwack flagship bitter liqueur, is a certified Hungarian treasure. Family lore traces it to 1790; the recipe remains a tightly guarded Zwack secret to this day. Guided tours reveal how a once‑medicinal stomach bitter became a cultural icon.
