Budaörs rolls out a year of culture, food, music, theater, and family activities across multiple venues in 2026. Expect variety for every age, from hands-on workshops to headline talks and a roaring air show, with organizers reserving the right to change dates and programs.
June Highlights
June 6 brings Tvrtko – Chernobyl 40, an exclusive talk held at several locations in Budaörs, with tickets from $2.75 to $41.20. On June 8, dive into cyanotype, an ancient photo process, at Budaörsi Jókai Mór Cultural Center (Budaörsi Jókai Mór Művelődési Ház). The same day, the Vinyl Club spins John Lennon’s life’s work at Nyugi / House for Retirees (Nyugdíjasok Háza), priced at $2.75–$5.50. From June 8–12, the SITFY Festival lights up the Budaörs Latinovits Theater (Budaörsi Latinovits Színház), tickets $8.25–$13.75. The Budaörs Air Show also roars into June, with additional dates on June 5–7, June 17, and June 20.
Summer Workshops
On July 8, a garden basketry workshop crafts a wall-mounted onion holder at the Jókai Mór Cultural Center (Jókai Mór Művelődési Ház) for $41.20. Family time lands July 21 with Summer Puppet Tale Nook, Part I (Nyári Bábos Mesekuckó I) for young kids, $9.60, returning August 25 for Part II at the same price.
Autumn to November
September 12 features a Kintsugi art therapy workshop at the Jókai Mór Cultural Center for $41.20. October 14–17 marks an additional autumn program window. Tvrtko – Chernobyl 40 returns to the Jókai Cultural Center (Jókai Művelődési Központ) on November 7 and 21, tickets $24.45.
