Budapest Jazz Club rolls into 2026 with a packed calendar of live music, international and Hungarian stars, and late-night jam sessions. The venue at 1136 Budapest, 13th District, 7 Hollán Ernő Street pairs a nostalgia-tinged café and a modern bistro with a cutting-edge concert hall. Concerts start at 8:00 p.m., while the much-loved jam sessions kick off after 10:00 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday. Drop in by day for coffee or come back after dark for the groove.
June Highlights
June 10 brings Budateher Jazz Night: Kanizsa Gina: Vocalese, and the Wednesday Open Jam with the Gábor Kollmann Quartet. On June 11: BJC Café Jam with the Gábor Juhász Trio and FIDELIO Jazz Night: Balázs Bágyi New Quartet. June 12 features Harmónia Jazz Workshop: Jazzation and a free BJC jam session with Sándor Molnár & Friends. June 13 stacks a free jam with the István Gyárfás Trio, “The First 50…” musical celebration with friends, and the Collective Alternative Music Workshop year-end concert.
Conservatory Collabs & Star Turns
Mid-month jams feature the Péter Pintér Trio (June 17), the Noémi Nagy Quartet (June 18), and the Károly Gáspár Trio (June 19), alongside Bartók Conservatory year-end exam concerts (June 18–19). June 20 spotlights Harmónia Jazz Workshop: Luiza Zan & the István Gyárfás Trio and a free jam with the János Egri Trio. LFZE Open Jams bookend June 23 (Levente Bédy Trio) and June 30 (Dóra Moldovai Quartet), flanked by Stella Jazz Night: Organ Station (June 23), Iván Nagy Classic Jam and Fröx Trio (June 24), BJC Café Jam: Gábor Juhász Trio and Marcus Lee Trio – Old Songs album release (June 25), Pastell Contemporro and a free jam with the János Egri Trio (June 26), Balázs József Trio free jam and Cafuné (June 27), plus ALERANT Jazz Night: Budapest Bossa Nova (June 30).
Summer Sessions
July opens with the Frankie Látó Quartet (July 3), the BJC Music Camp (July 7–9), the Attila Kiss Band (July 9), Gypsy Jazz Band (July 10), and Egri Jr. Trio feat. Attila László (July 16).
Festivals & Winter Close
Budapest Jazz Club presents the Malomvölgy Festival, August 13–15. The season caps with Vilmos Gryllus: Winter Concert on November 22.
