Most tickets are available online, and the waterfront city keeps the action rolling week after week—with yoga on the shore, art openings, late-night comedy, chilled sunset cruises, and major regattas on the lake.
June Highlights: Art in Motion, Movies, and the Lake
June 13–14 brings Pole Artistic Hungary, a spectacular international pole dance and aerial competition. Expect gravity-defying pole art, glamour, hoop, and hammock performances showcasing strength, elegance, and artistry—all on one stage in Balatonfüred.
Also June 13–14: classic Balatonfüred boat excursions. Film lovers get weekly Balatonfüred cinema programs June 8–14, then again June 15–21 and beyond, while sightseeing cruises continue June 15–18 and June 19–21.
On June 17 at 5:30 p.m., International Yoga Day takes over Tagore Promenade by the expanded Széchenyi statue area with an open-air lakeside session.
June 18 offers a joint Summer-Welcoming Concert by the Bem Memorial Choir with Gabriella Csikhon and Attila Sári.
On June 19, graphic artist Milán Takács opens his exhibit Material into Light at Arács Community House (Arácsi Népház, Lóczy Lajos St. 62), introduced by museum educator Orsolya Nyitrai, with electronic/folktronica–downtempo by Holb Levente “Zsörk.” Works include paper-based digital collages and experimental images, design graphics (posters, logos), and analog photos. Open through August 24 during house hours (Mon, Thu 10:00–16:00; Wed 12:00–16:00).
Also on June 19 at 6 p.m., the Huray Villas host the opening of Cloud and Water – Contemplation in the Landscape by Andrea Weichinger, followed by a free concert by guitarist Gáspár Thorpe. June 20 at 6 p.m., it’s Fairy-Tale Picnic – Stories in the Grass at Huray Villas, with tales by Benedek Elek and Zsuzsanna Czipri from the Arács writer’s book, narrated by Edit Szabadi. The same evening: a special stand-up by Dumaszínház stars Eszter Ráskó and András Péter Kovács at the Balaton Leisure and Conference Center. Ticket prices convert roughly to USD 26 (from 9,590 HUF). July 21–26: Anna Festival unfolds alongside Duma Swing 3 and ongoing comedy. July 24–26 brings Füred Art Week, a lively art market.
